This high-quality footstool is produced to the designers' original specifications. It is inspired by a celebrated modernist design originally presented at the German Pavilion during the 1929 International Exposition in Barcelona.

The Exhibition Footstool features a frame crafted from premium solid stainless steel bar stock. All joints are fully welded, sealed, and seamlessly finished before being hand-polished to a mirror-like surface. The proportions and geometry remain faithful to the original design language, while four leather belts with buckles secure the cushion to the frame. The cushion is upholstered in 16 individual top-grain leather panels, each carefully cut and hand-stitched using a traditional hand-rolled welting technique rarely found in comparable pieces. Filled with high-resilience, high-density polyurethane foam, the cushion is CAL117 flame test rated and designed for lasting comfort and durability. Leather support straps are riveted directly to the frame, with all exposed edges finished to match the upholstery for a refined and cohesive appearance.
