The desk is defined by the elegant integration of its tabletop, rails and two slender drawers into one generously proportioned veneered element. This composition rests upon two slim supporting legs crafted from stainless flat steel, creating a sense of lightness and balance.
Its character is revealed through its construction and carefully considered details. The drawers feature distinctive stainless steel handles and traditional dovetail joints, reflecting Wegner's deep respect for fine cabinetmaking. One drawer incorporates a small tray with a rounded bottom, designed for storing smaller personal items.
Furniconic's interpretation follows the essential proportions, structural logic and visual character of Wegner's original design. Refined materials, precise construction and understated detailing come together in a desk that feels both architectural and expressive.
