19.3-FI, LC2 3-seater Sofa - Feather - Inspired by Le Corbusier
Few furniture designs express the spirit of early modernism as clearly as the grand lounge models associated with Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Defined by their exposed tubular frame and generous, deeply cushioned volumes, these pieces transformed the relationship between structure and comfort, pairing architectural precision with an inviting softness.
Our Grande Feather Relaxed Lounge Sofa is inspired by the celebrated LC3 lounge sofa, one of the most recognizable seating designs of the twentieth century. Its distinctive composition—an external steel frame surrounding oversized cushions—creates a striking balance between visual rigor and relaxed comfort, making it equally suited to residential interiors, hospitality spaces and modern lounge environments.
Our interpretation features a high-gauge tubular stainless steel frame, polished to a mirror-like finish with carefully softened corners and adjustable glides at the feet. Beneath the cushions, woven elastic webbing provides resilient support while preserving the sofa’s clean architectural profile.
All visible cushion surfaces are upholstered in premium top-grain, aniline-dyed leather. Inside, multi-density high-resilience foam is wrapped in a layer of goose down and feather fill, creating a seat that feels generous, supportive and exceptionally comfortable while maintaining the bold proportions of the original design.
With its sculptural form, deep comfort and enduring modernist character, this sofa remains one of the defining icons of twentieth-century furniture design.
